The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. ~ Exodus 14:14

ISRAEL AND EZEKIEL 37-38
As Mark Hitchcock reported some five years ago:

Two recent news stories bear a remarkable coincidence to the biblical prophecies concerning Israel in Ezekiel 37 and 38. First, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking on the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, cited the fulfillment of Ezekiel 37. Netanyahu believes that the rise of the modern nation of Israel fulfills Ezekiel’s famous prophecy of the dry bones, when he said:

“The Jewish people rose from ashes and destruction, from a terrible pain that can never be healed. Armed with the Jewish spirit, the justice of man, and the vision of the prophets, we sprouted new branches and grew deep roots. Dry bones became covered with flesh, a spirit filled them, and they lived and stood on their own feet, as Ezekiel prophesied: “Then He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ Therefore prophesy and say to them, thus says the Lord God, ‘Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.”

You have been found wanting...

You have been found wanting…

The second recent headline is related to the first one. On a recent trip to Israel, Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, one of Israel’s stongest allies in Europe, made this startling statement. “My greatest desire, as long as I am a protagonist in politics, is to bring Israel into membership of the European Union.” This is the first I have heard of any desire for Israel to be part of the EU. Of course, no one knows if or when this will ever happen, but the Bible does predict a reuniting of the Roman Empire in the end times in Daniel 2 and 7, and the EU appears to foreshadow that revival. The Holy Land was part of the ancient Roman Empire and could be a part of its end time reconstitution. It would be natural for the reunited Roman Empire to include Israel. If this were to occur, one could easily see how Israel would be under the protection of the Antichrist (the leader of the final Roman Empire) and how he could make a covenant with Israel that brings peace as predicted in Daniel 9:27.

After the Jewish people are regathered to their land in Ezekiel 37, the next chapter predicts an all-out invasion of Israel by a horde of nations including Russia, Iran, Central Asia, Libya, Turkey and Sudan. This invasion occurs while Israel is at peace and living securely in her land (Ezek 38:8, 11). If Israel were to be admitted to the EU at some point in the future, the peace they will experience in the end times with the help of the Antichrist is easy to envision. It’s even possible that the signing of such a treaty could be part of Israel’s requirements for admisson to the EU. No one knows for sure, but we do know that the event that commences the final seven years of this age is a treaty or covenant between the leader of the reunited Roman Empire and Israel. Berlusconi’s desire could be an initial step in that direction.

These recent headlines that point toward the fulfillment of Ezekiel 37 and 38 are further striking examples of how the world stage is taking shape for the coming of Christ.

UPDATEBIBI NETANYAHU AT THE UNITED NATIONS THIS PAST THURSDAY OCTOBER 1 2015

Though the Prime Minister of Israel stood for a moment in silence, we will be remiss, and condemned, if we, the free and the brave, stand by in silence. Our leadership has put us in the position of provoking a war that cannot but result in much death. The wolf of the north, Russia, has come south for the easy meal. The wolf of the east, Iran, is already at the carcass of what once was a pacified Iraq. The door of invitation is Syria, which our feckless leaders not only opened wide, but laid out a red carpet of welcome in reproach.

Now, as we play at warfare over the skies of eastern Syria, we seek further humiliation at the hands of Russia, because we will never back them down. If we were the United States of 40 years ago, we would dare Putin to send his planes against ours. We can and would sweep the skies, and send him packing. But we are not the United States of 40 years ago. We are the United States of Obama the OBO Clown and his hoard of pajama boys and girls, led by Valerie Jarrett.

Obama as OBO the Clown Mad Hatter…

Obama the OBO Clown will leave a monumental mess in his wake, and we had better elect a resolute President when he goes, as his successor will have a difficult job re-energizing the Constitutional Republic. He will have to convince the citizenry that it is our duty to clean up the mess. If he fails, it will only be a matter of time before the mess will visit our shores, and the task will not only be more difficult, but more immediate. Time to pull out your old copy of “The Gathering Storm” and spend the weekend with it.

The masterpiece, written of course (“inscribed” might be more appropriate) by my boyhood hero Sir Winston Spencer Churchill, in his first volume of The Second World War contains the following: “There never was a war more easy to stop” and posited the theme of the work as: “How the English speaking peoples, through their unwisdom, carelessness and good nature allowed the wicked to rearm.”

Within its content he also gives the morality of the work:
“In war: Resolution;
In Defeat: Defiance;
In Victory: Magnanimity;
In Peace: Goodwill”.

Does there exist such a leader the likes of Sir Winston Spencer Churchill or Benjamin Netanyahu on the GOP side? because for sure none exists on the DemoMarxist side. The coming times will require such to overturn the disaster that is the legacy of Barack Hussein Obama and his insane ideology and administration.

JAY D. HOMNICK FROM The American Spectator

Bibi, or not to Bibi, that is the question in today’s United States policy toward Iran. Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of the outrageous fortune of money being dumped into the Ayatollah’s coffers. Or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them. To die — to sleep, and by a sleep to say we end the heartache and the thousand natural shocks the flesh is heir to: ’tis a consummation devoutly to be wished, at least for the suicide bombers subsidized by the terrorist regime of Iran. That sleep of death being inflicted so liberally, with innocent bystanders shuffling off this mortal coil prematurely, must give us pause.

And pause Bibi did. A preternatural protracted pause that made the evildoers of the world squirm, forced to listen in the silence to the eldritch shrieks of the demons in their souls. Provided of course that they have souls.

In case your attention was diverted at the time, here is what occurred on the 1st of October at the United Nations. Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu of the State of Israel, son of a great historian, brother of the martyred hero of the Entebbe rescue, himself an outstanding warrior, stood before the gathered stooges and stumblebums of the General Assembly, the poltroons and the buffoons, and he spoke to them of exalted matters. He described to them a level of moral sensibility beyond their ken.

He spoke of a nation targeted for annihilation a mere eighty years ago. At that time the world stood silently by while Germany under Hitler rounded up Jews, confined them in ghettos and concentration camps, pillaged their property, and implemented a programmatic genocide which claimed six million lives before it was stopped.

Bibi Netanyahu Guardian of Israel and ultimately the world…

Stopped … not by nations offended by atrocity … but by nations alarmed by conquest. At that time the nations of the world, organizing into the deliberative and quasi-legislative body we call the United Nations, swore never to stand by silently again.

Now the heads of a member state, Iran, have gone on the record in public forums, echoing across the infinite vastness of the Internet, pledging to annihilate Israel. They boast that they forced the United States at the bargaining table to accept that policy as a non-negotiable feature of their regime. “And how does the world react?” asked Netanyahu. “How does the majority of the membership of this assembly react?”

He answered his own question: “With silence. Absolute silence. A silence that is almost deafening.”

Then he stood for forty seconds and uttered not a word. He let them stew in their own stew, without the mercy of a nose blowing or the security guard’s walkie-talkie crackling.

The air was noiseless but that room was not silent. There were many sounds in that silence. Each heart, each soul, each brain filled the silence with its own reverberating echoes. Shrieks and groans and moans and pleas alongside futile fustian speechifying and sonorous temporizing; all the sounds of the Holocaust from the victims to the perpetrators to the collaborators to the enablers. No one was innocent except Denmark.

Listen to the beat of your own cowardly hearts, ye who presume to lead the world. You have led it into oblivion and darkness, and you are on the brink of leading it into dystopia. Actually the cowards are the better ones among you. You have more bastards than dastards in your midst. As the late Ben Hecht once wrote, there are nations with a cold spot in their hearts that is warmed only by murder.

Did the nations represented in the General Assembly learn from Bibi’s moment of silence?  I suspect that Simon and Garfunkel answered this long ago:

“Fools,” said I. “You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you”.
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed In…
the wells of silence.

And thus the native hue of resolution is sicklied o’er with the pale cast of thought while barbarians run amok. And enterprises of great pitch and moment with this regard their currents turn awry and lose the name of action, leaving us with Obama and Kerry and whoever is the latest Secretary General of the United Nations twiddling their thumbs, blithering and dithering.

Yet we recall the Biblical story of Goliath, loudly proclaiming his superior prowess and enhanced weaponry. He brought a sword and a suit of armor to back up his bluster but David silenced him with one shot from his little Bibi gun.

Take heart, my friends, God is not in the clamor, He is in the stillness.

To repeat from above – Does there exist such a leader the likes of Sir Winston Spencer Churchill or Benjamin Netanyahu on the GOP side? because for sure none exists on the DemoMarxist side. The coming times will require such to overturn the disaster that is the legacy of Barack Hussein Obama and his insane administration.
