PART ONE: THE ENEMY AT THE GATE AND WITHIN

Man is a rebel, and a rebel is naturally in confusion. He is in conflict with every other rebel. For a rebel by his very nature is selfish. He is seeking his own good and not the good of others. ~ Billy Graham, Till Armageddon, 1981

Face it folks – The war has been going on since 634 AD which at this writing is just 19 years shy of 1400 years. I doubt that anyone can bring to mind any war, anywhere, at any time that has been perpetrated as long as this one on planet earth since Cain murdered Abel and God “cursed him from the ground” and banished him to the land of Nod, east of Eden. Go back 1283 years to 732 AD when Charles Martel turned back the savage hordes at the Battle of Poitiers. Go back to the 12th Century when the Crusades were organized to thwart the Islamic takeover and destruction of the Christian sites in the Holy Land.

Poitiers 732 AD Islamic Tide Turned Back…

Go back 214 years to “Jefferson’s War” of 1801-1805 against the Barbary pirates. Go back to the First World War of 1914-18, when Churchill helped in turning back the Turkish Ottoman Empire which had been raping Europe for 400 years. Go back to the Second World War of 1939-45 where Islamic Imams joined forces with the demonic Hitler to eliminate the Jewish people in an attempt to put in place a worldwide Caliphate. Sir Winston Churchill was again the one who put flight to their plans and kept in place the foundations of Western Civilization. Go back over the past 40 years or so to witness the litany of Islamic Jihadist Terrorist attacks against United States forces and civilians. 9/11 is seared into the brain. The Spanish and London bombings are seared into the brain. Fort Hood is seared into the brain. Charlie Hebdo is seared into the brain. And now the Paris debauchery is seared into the brain. Need I go on?

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible .. Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. ~ Isaiah 13: 11, 15-16

This is a terrible time, a hard time, to say nothing of a difficult way to live. I have always tried to live on the side of accepting and giving people the benefit of the doubt. I would like to believe that not every Muslim is a terrorist. I would like to live knowing that this is a small percentage of sick individuals acting out their vengeance. But my lingering question is, where are the other Muslim countries, and their people? Why don’t we hear nor see anything from them acting against these extremists? During WWII there were scores aplenty of non-Jewish people who acted out against the Nazi party, people who risked their lives to protect the lives of others. Where are all the Muslims who are standing up for peace and fighting against ISIS? I’ll answer the question for you, since they won’t.

They are non-existent. There is no such animal as a “moderate muslim” because if there were, they would be joining, if not leading, the fight against these depraved lunatics. There are muslims and non-muslims. Period.  If I hear anyone talk about “moderate muslims” one more time, I think I’ll spit(!) Repeat after me – There are muslims and non-muslims. To be “moderate” to them is to remain silent, act like the sheep they are, keep quiet, and go along their miserable way to perfidy. When I see a “moderate muslim” uprising against the barbarity that goes along with “Allahu Akbar” then I might – might – relent somewhat and go to the next phase. But as it stands now, however, non-muslims (ie we infidels) are given three choices .. 1) convert: 2) if no conversion, pay the dhimmi; or 3), if no 1), or 2), it’s off with your head. Somehow that doesn’t look very enticing to me at all – Just sayin’.

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. ~ Isaiah 14: 9-11

In the aftermath of the Islamic terrorist slaughter of 12 people at the French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris this past January (a planned vengeance attack for the magazine’s mockery of the Prophet Muhammad) it is worthwhile noting the cowardice of the Obama administration on issues of free speech related to Muhammad in the past. Hillary Clinton recently explained that the use of foreign policy “smart power” should focus on “leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect even for one’s enemies, trying to understand and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view.”

Charlie Hebdo...

Charlie Hebdo…

Following the planned murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans at the Benghazi, Libya consulate on September 11, 2012, Obama and the rest of his administration blamed a YouTube filmmaker for a video called “The Innocence of Muslims.” At the United Nations on September 25, 2012, Obama spoke out, not in defense of free speech, but in offense at the YouTube video: “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”. At the same time, of course, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blatantly told the grieving mother of one of the murdered Americans that she would ensure the arrest of the YouTube filmmaker, and bring to justice, all of those involved. No surprise of course, that the Obama administration ordered YouTube to pull the video instead, and keep the producer in jail to prevent him from spilling the beans. So much for the “transparency” promised by these two miscreants of the Obama regime. Shameless is what they are.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? ~ Isaiah 14: 12-17

And then there was this the other day, from Reuters:

CAIRO (Reuters) – Islamic State warned in a new video on Monday that countries taking part in air strikes against Syria would suffer the same fate as France, and threatened to attack in Washington. The video, which appeared on a site used by Islamic State to post its messages, begins with news footage of the aftermath of Friday’s Paris shootings in which at least 129 people were killed.

The message to countries involved in what it called the “crusader campaign” was delivered by a man dressed in fatigues and a turban, and identified in subtitles as Al Ghareeb the Algerian. “We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” the man said. It was not immediately possible to verify the authenticity of the video, which purports to be the work of Islamic State fighters in the Iraqi province of Salahuddine, north of Baghdad.

The French government has called the Paris attacks an act of war and said it would not end its air strikes against Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. French fighter jets launched their biggest raids in Syria to date on Sunday targeting the Islamic State’s stronghold in the city of Raqqa. The operation was carried out in coordination with U.S. forces. Police raided homes of suspected Islamist militants across France overnight following the Paris attacks.

“Al Ghareeb the Algerian” also warned Europe in the video that more attacks were coming. “I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before,” he said. Apparently referring to international talks to end the Syrian war, another man identified in the video as Al Karrar the Iraqi tells French President Francois Hollande “we have decided to negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels.”

Some people have said that man has improved .. [and] that if Christ came back today, He would not be crucified but would be given a glorious reception. Christ does come to us every day in the form of Bibles that we do not read, in the form of churches that we do not attend, in the form of human need that we pass by. I am convinced that if Christ came back today, He would be crucified more quickly than He was two thousand years ago. Sin never improves. Human nature has not changed. ~ Billy Graham, Day by Day, 1965

In closing this first part, let me leave you with this simple quote from John Stuart Mill, English philosopher of the 19th Century:

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth a war, is much worse. When a people are used as mere human instruments for firing cannon or thrusting bayonets, in the service and for the selfish purposes of a master, such war degrades a people. A war to protect other human beings against tyrannical injustice; a war to give victory to their own ideas of right and good, and which is their own war, carried on for an honest purpose by their free choice — is often the means of their regeneration. A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.”
