According to Politifact, the full content of the above Lincoln quote ran: “At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”

President Lincoln could have been describing OBO#44. ‘The approach of danger’ has already occurred as you are about to discover!

Andrea Widburg (and throughout): Barack Obama was never a traditional American president. After all, he was the only president ever to come to the White House manifestly disliking and being embarrassed by the country he was elected to lead. With that as a background, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that he’s publicly meddling in the upcoming election in a way that even Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton didn’t try. (Former Republican presidents have more graciously stayed out of the fray.)

Both of Obama’s lines of attack are serious. First, he’s explicitly saying that Trump is trying to throw the election by putting his managerial skills to work to address a postal system that is in complete disarray. Second, he’s attacking his own former Vice President, who is now waiting in the wings to be officially crowned as the Democrat party’s presidential candidate.

Followed by Yours truly (and throughout): Looks as though in trying to destroy America, OBO#44 has inadvertently destroyed the Democrat Party, and now he’s panicking. He’s like the bomb-maker who accidentally blows himself up. For the last four years the jackasses who run the party have been telling themselves (and everyone else) that Trump’s election was a fluke. Now they’re coming face to face with reality. Their party has been mortally wounded by their love affair with a radical revolutionary.

FWIW, Scott Adams suggests that a big factor in the historic peace agreement just reached in the Middle East is Trump’s defanging of Iran, OBO#44’s love-child. Sorry Barack, guess you struck out yet again. I suspect you swing at a baseball just about as bad as you throw one.

The United States Post Office is a mess. In 2018, the Post Office had a net loss of $3.91 billion. In 2019, the net loss had more than doubled, reaching a staggering $8.81 billion. Even considering the claim that some of that money was a result of bookkeeping changes, the net loss was still almost $2 billion greater than in 2018. Thanks to the Wuhan virus, 2020 is promising to be the worst year ever. At the end of April, the Post Office said that its first-quarter losses were already $4.5 billion. In the second quarter, the Post Office lost another $2.2 billion. It is a barely functional institution.

Most unvetted president of all time; just remarkable. Think about it. We don’t know where he was born. We don’t know anything about his education. We don’t know anything about his past. And we don’t know anything about all his academic records having been sealed. OBO#44 was the head of the democrat party for eight years and proved to be a disaster for them. Let him speak, because he reveals the toxic waste that is the democrat party, hell bent on destroying the republic. He says the most patently untrue things about President Trump. By referring to him as some kind of dictator, OBO#44 is vacuously showing the world that he himself wouldn’t hesitate to rig the election; wouldn’t hesitate to turn us into Venezuela. God only knows he came very close to almost doing just that during his disastrous eight years!

Nevertheless, Democrats are insisting that, come November, all voting in America must be done via the U.S. Mail, with states mailing ballots to every registered voter and the voters mailing them back. Others have pointed out that this will be a disaster, so I won’t belabor the point. It’s enough to say that the possibilities of fraud on a hitherto unknown scale are enormous. Moreover, with the Postal union just having endorsed Joe Biden, if Trump voters are forced to vote by mail, they’ll have a reasonable fear that their ballots will never get counted.

OBO#44 is a petty man. His legacy is history. He snipes from the safety of being the first black president, an untouchable, thus some remain silent, lest one be accused of racism. So, he moans about the USPS being streamlined, to make it more efficient and cost effective and accuses the President of depriving voters of the ability to vote. President Trump, by reorganizing it, has identified and removed another tool in the toolbox of democrats to steal the election. Democrats love dysfunction. If Obama was as influential as we are made to believe, then why is Joe Biden the democrat nominee?

Donald Trump, looking at this mess, decided to do what he’s done for decades: Install new management to make a business better. This isn’t just his avocation; it’s also his constitutional job. In June, Trump appointed Louis DeJoy, an experienced businessman, as his Postmaster General. DeJoy immediately set about trying to slow the financial bleeding. Democrats, of course, complained. Things really went “postal,” though, on August 7, when DeJoy reassigned or removed 23 senior postal officials. Management shuffles are a logical step to take when an organization is dysfunctional. In our politicized age, this was going to be a hot potato under any circumstances. Still, Obama, who should be staying out of things, turned it into a nuclear potato by accusing Trump of deliberately sabotaging the election…

It sounds to me as if, with Kamala Harris now in place in the campaign, Obama is attempting to remove Biden from the picture entirely. Obama was never really going to let a senile man head the Democrat party ticket, and he may now be getting his ducks in a row to ease Biden out. Put simply, Russia couldn’t have done a better job at interfering with a presidential election than OBO#44 has done. Four years ago, his interference was covert and illegal. This year, it’s overt and disgusting. [end]

I have an idea for OBO#44 – Let’s quit attributing skills and smarts to this unindicted coup co-conspirator, the likes of which he obviously lacks. Remember he was given a Nobel Peace Prize just for showing up and has never written a book even though his name is on the cover; even ‘stiffing’ publisher Penguin Random House for a 2017 advance of $65 million for a book which should have been finished in 2018! Fact is, Obama speaking out on anything to do with this administration and the coming election is a sign that he is threatened by a man who has the ability and power to wreck him.

President Trump was not hailed as transformative and historical the way Obama was. Nor was he ever baby-coddled by a sycophantic media, looking to present a man with sharply pressed trousers while swooning over the same. Biden eg “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American, who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy. I mean, that’s storybook, man!” (OK Joe, back to the basement).

In truth OBO#44 showed up as (and continues to be viewed as) an unconscionably dumb empty suit worth barely 2 cents and a nickel; even Penguin Random House publishers are looking for their $65 million dollars back. What a legacy, eh?
