Julie Kelly, writing in American Greatness (full link provided below): “While official Washington fixates on the plight of an anti-Putin Russian political dissident, American supporters of Donald Trump are being rounded up, imprisoned, transported to the nation’s capital, and likely bankrupted over relatively minor crimes to stoke the narrative that an ‘insurrection’ occurred last month.”

“More than 200 people have been charged so far; the FBI has described its effort as a ’24/7, full bore extensive operation’ and warned that agents from its 56 field offices will be fully engaged. The scope and scale of these investigations . . . ‘is really unprecedented not only in FBI history but in DOJ history,’ acting Attorney General Michael Sherwin said during a press conference on January 12.”

“Since all cases will be adjudicated in Washington, D.C., it’s a sure bet that defendants will be shown no mercy in the Trump-hating Beltway legal system also responsible for prosecuting Roger Stone and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn—just a few of the Americans targeted by law enforcement solely based on their ties to Donald Trump. Authorities admit that the Justice Department’s various sedition strike forces will leverage minor offenses in an attempt to manufacture bigger cases against Trump allies.” [end]

Yours truly has generally been of the opinion these past few weeks that it isn’t a civil war we find ourselves in, but rather more a rebirth of the Spirit of 1776: Some going-on 80 million-plus Patriots proudly standing for “Liberty and Justice for All” versus those Democrat ANTIFA, BLM Mega-Billionaire Tech. Tyrants who bought the election, digitally assassinated the last POTUS, and then installed their agents using deadly force against We the People and our president Trump.

And for what? Because they prefer their narrative rather than reality, so what we believe never registers with them. So many of the things they belatedly believe about conservatives, and Christians, southerners, white people, rural people, the police or republicans simply aren’t true but they don’t care because they prefer their narrative about us since that justifies their hate. Horrible people you say? And they’re supposed to be our “fellow Americans”?

Take the serially-demented Democrat Biden for instance, and what the Catholic Hierarchy think about his antics (from Margo Cleveland in The Federalist linked below): “The Catholic Church can no longer ignore P*r*e*s*i*d*e*n*t Biden’s support for the grave moral evil of abortion and his clear demonstration ‘that he is not in full communion with the Catholic Church.’ By signing the executive order rescinding the Mexico City Policy, P*r*e*s*i*d*e*n*t Biden has turned promises and policy positions—such as his assurance on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade that ‘the Biden-Harris Administration is committed to codifying Roe v. Wade and appointing judges that respect foundational precedents like Roe’—into unequivocal formal cooperation with the grave sin of abortion.” [end]

Those who witnessed it, can vouch it wasn’t insurrection for rioters to attack Sen. Rand Paul and his wife, nor to burn down a church, or to attempt to penetrate the White House. Pelosi had no problem with it, while AOC set up a bail fund. (Completely changing her tune, however, when she felt threatened!)

But Democrat political dissent, and speaking openly that the election was stolen – FYI we even witnessed it on TeeVee – is now a crime in the very best fascist tradition. The Gulag Archipelago must be required reading now, because these people want to repeat it. We also read Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto, but, unlike them, we know how those books end.

The world of American politics really did change forever during the year 2015 beginning with the glide down the Trump Tower escalator. And to all intents and purposes it would appear on the surface that it isn’t going to change back anytime soon. Furthermore, this is the nation which crossed two world oceans to defeat three fascist regimes – Germany, Italy, Japan – and it will not now permit a fascist regime to be set up right here in our own backyard.

The relatively scant number of people involved in this coup, beginning from the top down with the inglorious dementia-ridden faux “president” and the canker operatives under the guise of the House, Senate, Judiciary, and the corrupt alphabet agencies, will be hard pressed to impose tyranny on 320 million others, no matter what their job titles might be or where their offices are located.

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. ~ Hebrews 12: 28-29
