In questions of power then, let no more be said of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution ~ Thomas Jefferson
First up – REQUIRED READING: Rules for Righties – a War-Winning Manifesto for 2017…
“One of the best things about 2016 for me was the way it gave the lie to the weaselish and wet aphorism – so often repeated by so many of our impeccably reasonable, sensible and balanced TV and newspaper pundits – that elections are “won in the centre ground.”
“This was the Belial philosophy that gave us, in the U.S., that hideous continuum from the Bushes and the Clintons to Obama; and in Britain, the grotesque and malign Third Way squishery that took us from Tony Blair through to his (self-admitted heir) David Cameron and beyond. (It’s also the mindset which invented the disgraceful, sell-out concept of “soft Brexit”.)
“No wonder so many of us had become so fed up with politics: no matter which party you voted for, whether the notionally left-wing one or the notionally right-wing one you still seemed to end up with the same old vested interests, the same old liberal Establishment elite.
“Of course we should always despise the liberal-left because their philosophy is morally bankrupt, dangerous and wrong. But I sometimes think that the people we should despise most of all are the squishes who pretend to be on our side of the argument but forever betray our cause. Sometimes they do this by throwing the more outspoken among us to the wolves in order to signal how tolerant and virtuous they are; sometimes they do this by endorsing some fatuous liberal position in order to show their willingness to compromise.
“I call the latter approach the “dogshit yogurt fallacy.”
“We need to understand, very clearly, that there are such things as right and wrong; and that, furthermore, it is always worth fighting to the bitter end for the right thing rather than accepting second best because a bunch of lawyers and politicians and hairdressers from Brazil and squishy newspaper columnists and other members of the liberal elite have told us that second best is the best we can hope for.”
See the rest of it from James Delingpole .. finish your assignment, people, and read the whole thing. And remember…. NO PRISONERS!

Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free Constitution is pure virtue. ~ John Adams
Meanwhile, back in the insane department, yet another one of those “I don’t believe it” moments… Meet transvestite ‘Beauty Boy’ – the new face of Maybelline cosmetics. Waddya think ladies?! Wanna meet Maybelline’s new model to sell its cosmetics? Say hello to “beauty boy” — Manny Gutierrez @mannymua733, the transvestite “makeup artist” who stars in Maybelline’s “That Boss Life” campaign promoting Big Shot Mascara.
Manny Gutierrez, 25, is an openly-homosexual vlogger (video blogger) who calls himself a “beauty youTuber,” giving beauty tips on YouTube. He is one of a group of “wildly popular” men who wear makeup who have been nicknamed “beauty boys,” Elle Magazine reported.
He said he was raised a Mormon, now lives in San Diego, and that wearing makeup makes him feel “empowered”. Gutierrez has more than 3 million followers on Instagram and almost 2.2 million YouTube subscribers. Net Worth reported that his personal net worth is estimated at about $350,000. These other pics of Manny “beauty boy” Gutierrez were posted to Instagram, and are sure to inspire you to dash out and buy Maybelline cosmetics, won’t they? Don’t you just love the beard stub?
Maybelline actually is late to the game. If you remember back in October I did a piece featuring the first-ever male spokesmodel for CoverGirl cosmetics, the delicate flower by the name of James Charles, 17. As I opined at the time: Fast-forward to today and the latest iteration of what stands for the cultural norm in the most advanced nation on the planet [sic], and that would be cosmetics peddler Covergirl proudly “coming out” with its very first ever CoverBoy.
To cut to the chase and get straight to the point, the coming-out party from last Tuesday sure produced its share of comments, not least of which was an overwhelming trend to how low the moral culture of the United States has descended in the past few years. In other words, the majority of people are “mad as hell, and we’re not gonna take it anymore” [apologies to Howard Beale from Network].
We The People need to stand up for decency.

Now to a touch of the absurd. Imagine you’re a military general and you instruct your underling to pin an award medal on you. I think all would agree that the general just gave an award to himself, which is vain and plain ridiculous.
Well that’s exactly what Obama, Commander in Chief of the U.S. military, did a few days ago on January 4, 2017.
Josh Lederman and Vivian Salama reporting for the Associated Press (via The Herald Dispatch), Jan 4, 2017, that Obama met Wednesday with military leaders for the last time at a farewell ceremony at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, a short drive from the White House:
“Prior to his remarks, Defense Secretary Ash Carter presented Obama with the Medal of Distinguished Public Service as a token of appreciation for his service as commander in chief. […]
Addressing a mainly empty room of men and women from the various branches of the military, Obama praised their service and sacrifice. He said there is ‘no greater privilege and no greater honor’ than serving as commander in chief.
‘As I reflect on the challenges we have faced together and on those to come, I believe that one of the greatest tasks before our armed forces is to retain the high confidence that the American people rightly place in you,’ Obama said. ‘We must never hesitate to act when necessary to defend our nation, but we must also never rush into war because sending you into harm’s way should be a last and not first resort.’ […]
President Barack Obama called for a smooth handover of control of the U.S. military to incoming commander in chief Donald Trump, as the outgoing president met Wednesday with military leaders for the last time.
‘We’ve got to make sure that during this transition period that there is a seamless passing of the baton, that there’s continuity,’ Obama said. He said it was critical to ensure that ‘we are doing everything we can to make sure that the next president will benefit from the same kinds of outstanding advice and service that these people around the table have provided me.’”
Blah, blah, blah, blah . . . . all of this ‘nicey, nice’ talk, while narcissistically-sniping daily at everything Donald Trump does.
Medal of Distinguished Public Service as Commander in Chief? That’s a stretch if ever there was one, but I guess it can be hung up somewhere with his bogus ‘Nobel TNT Peace Prize’ flung his way before he’d barely been inaugurated the first time … The ‘flim-flam-man’ of the people lives!

And finally to the very best bit. So how do we the people translate Joie de vivre into Nanny State Bafflegab? Four minutes that remind you how good life feels. Bafflegabbers should take note. Especially that guy who’s about to depart We the People’s mansion in 12 days.
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…….!!!!!!
