Pres Trump went to church Monday…

To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. ~ Deut 32:35

“I see there are many people, most in media, more upset about President Trump walking to St. John’s Church and holding up a Bible than they were about the church being lit on fire by rioters last night”. ~ Katie Pavlich on Twitter

When we look at last Monday’s event through the lens of a Bible, we see a world leader that we know God is using, standing in front of a church holding up a Bible. And we also know with absolute certainty that all of these events are “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will” ~ Ephesians 1:11

Perhaps in the aftermath of this past Friday’s stunner on the jobs report, it had to have gut-punched the leftist news alphabets right where it hurts most; their vitriol-hatred of the people’s president. They were after all, ready to go, unveiling reams of verbiage detailing a failing economy, then abruptly having to drastically change course. Who else but President Trump to MAGA; TWICE in one term.

But back to the church visit. Kylee Zempel, The Federalist:

Pres Trump went to church Monday…

President Donald Trump went to church Monday.

That isn’t exactly accurate. There was no chorus of worship, no corporate prayer, no holy reverence, no gathering of believers, and thus no church. Just the leader of the free world and the charred, boarded-up shell of a building, marred with fire at the hands of mutinous rogues. Amid nationwide protests and riots over the needless death of George Floyd at the hands of dishonorable officers, the president stood outside the vandalized historic structure.

St. John’s Episcopal Church isn’t the only desolate house of worship today. Church buildings across America stand as empty and ineffectual as if they too were consumed by fire, shuttered not by anarchists, but by tyrants.

Christians have for months been separated from one another thanks to state lockdown orders. The overwhelming majority of congregations have honored the coronavirus regulations imposed by authorities who would sooner dispense with communion than lottery tickets. To love their neighbors, protect the vulnerable, and remain above reproach, Christians stayed home, resorting to virtual meetings, sermon archives, and other poor substitutes for fellowship. In the process, we sacrificed our spiritual vitality. [end]

Unlike a slew of other milquetoast president-getalong-wannabe’s, President Trump’s leadership is not ‘symbolic’, but real; it’s tangible, and it has substance. He may twitter personal comments that past Presidents were loathe to publicly state, but have no doubt that they weren’t so personally squeamish that their voices were silent. His comments speak truth to power and, more importantly, speak truth to those who love this Republic. That would be We the (63 million) People.

Pres Trump went to church Monday…

Let we the people never forget we’ve already been through something far worse – and thankfully survived through God’s grace – the debacle aka OBO the clown prince of fools #44.

Consider also that with all the rioting and mayhem that has been going on, and despite the sword of Damocles hanging by a thread overhead, experts in all fields have already begun to be really busy in the rioters’ cities with window-fitters, installers, painters, re-construction, new construction, all yet another help in employment. For plywood we need loggers, log trucks and drivers, log mills, plywood manufacturers, and lumber yards, so there are lots more employees needed back at work. Reports from East Texas don’t include any slow down in log trucks on the highways; a sign they didn’t need to ‘social distance’ in the woods anymore.

We were told groups of more than 10 people were simply not doable. Outdoor services were deemed unsafe. Even parking too closely in a lot or having too many people in a vehicle during drive-in services was prohibited. Police surveilled churchgoers, recording the license plate numbers of service attendees as “the only way we can ensure that your decision doesn’t kill someone else.” The message from the media and oppressive leaders has been clear: Church gatherings are deadly.

But now the game has changed. As brutal anarchists take to the streets alongside masses of peaceful protesters, all the media’s cards are on the table. Progressive governors have shown their hand. The coronavirus scare tactics have largely ceased.

Believing fast food is essential while the Lord’s Supper is nonessential has always been ridiculous. But believing worshiping is lethal while looting is warranted is downright infuriating. [link to conclusion below]

Pres Trump went to church Monday…

The Left’s hatred of religion knows no bounds. In Europe they went crazy over the fact that we prayed for guidance on national security issues. They hate what Christianity teaches, because it tells them there is a right, a wrong, and their ‘feel good’ mantra is evil. While most of us have no deep ties, nor do we find the historical significance of that church building compelling, President Trump is right to remind us that following the principles taught in the Bible would fix the problems we have. He probably did it not only because he believes it, it makes for a good picture, but also because he knew it would really yank their proverbial chain and make them foam at the mouth.

Which of course, they immediately did!

The message is clear … the President was reclaiming the battle field. And We the (63 million) People of Trump’s legions saw this and were inspired once again. He demonstrated he is still with us. And we’ll do our part and continue to support him. The modern-day Battle of Pharsalus will soon commence. There is nowhere to run. There is nowhere to hide.

We win, the Left loses. The demoMarxocrats win, our lives as free men and women are over. But take heart, patriots.

President Trump went to church Monday!

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee. ~ Isaiah 49: 16-17
