If we reflect on the current crises that afflict our nation, look no further than the poison injected into our national bloodstream by the Clintons.

There is no need to go back to the numerous scandals that bedeviled Bill Clinton’s days in office, as governor of Arkansas, and as president. Hillary was behind them all: Whitewater, bimbo eruptions, foreign money (remember Charlie Trie?). Bill Clinton was a walking, talking, serial philanderer scandal. He was rightfully impeached for lying under oath. The man was and remains a cad.

But when it comes to plain old criminality, Bill can’t hold a candle to Hillary.

Machiavelli would be proud: “Never attempt to win by force what can be won by deception.” Hillary’s entire life in politics has been about deception in the certain belief that she is smarter than everyone else, when in fact she is as transparent as a piece of glass. Those of us who have had to endure her presence in our public life for decades saw her for who and what she was long ago, a greedy, power-hungry pol with delusions of grandeur.

President Trump is not only an exceptional entrepreneur and showman (in the best sense, communicating via entertainment) but a multi-faceted public figure whose oeuvre transcends “say anything” demagoguery. Despite his Wharton School MBA, performance on this level is not paper-pushing “business administration” but an art, allying intellect and temperament with a cheerfully ironic disposition that cuts through pretense like a Samurai’s laminar Katana Blade … OUCH!

Presidential mastery of 3-dimensional chess…

President Trump found a way to make himself the first legitimately elected American president in over 60 years who wasn’t – and who refused to become – a Deep State/CIA puppet. Voting him in again in 2020 is a no-brainer.

In the meantime, the dimwits have their own pharmacy inside the Capital Building; Pelosi flies around with a plane full of booze to top off her buzz, and we plebes are the dimwits for financing the insanity working under the dome that is reminiscent of the one on Solomon’s Temple.

The only difference now is that We the People have human gargoyles working inside the building instead of them being carved onto the dome.

There is much going on behind the scenes that is kept secret from us. The marines weren’t called in this week for fun and games. We have an excellent American president, one from whom no one in history has thus far surpassed his stealth. The future longs for the day when everyone in the previous #44 administration is perp-walked.

Soon … Paradise Lost, regained.

Dov Fischer, American Spectator: Trump, too, reflects his electorate: we who put him there. In balancing all that he comprises, we focused in November 2016 on greatness. Eight years of Obama — incompetence, weakness, economic malaise, societal decay — left us focused on restoring greatness. Thus, even Christian pastors, devout Catholic theologians, and Orthodox rabbis vigorously support Donald Trump. The free world’s last great hope is America, and she was in peril.

Despite the opposition, Pres. Trump gets on with the people’s will..

What about his language, some of his dishonorable private deeds, flaws in his character?

Yes, excellence of personal character is desirable. A Mike Huckabee, a Mike Pence might offer an interesting successor model in 2024 after the Democrats manage to impeach Trump into an impeccable second full term. Yet we will look back on Trump’s presidency wistfully decades hence as we today look back on the Ronald Reagan years. The man, whatever his flaws, has proven to be a great president of historic dimensions.

Prognostication/preparation is usually worthless in the face of cataclysm. Nobody knows how it would work out in actuality. In the famous, or infamous, words of Donald Rumsfeld, eons ago (twice-secretary of Defense in the Gerald Ford and Bush #43 administrations): ”There are known known’s. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don’t know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don’t know we don’t know.”

President Trump consoling victims of the Alabama hurricane…

The media/propagandists like to keep people stirred up.

Among We the People, millions believe God’s Hand of Providence was the key to the President’s electoral victory. The forces arrayed against him were no match for the will of God. May the turmoil that has followed 2016 be a warning and lesson to the Nation of what will come if priorities are not tended-to. The President is the man chosen to lead America through the fire and his journey of Faith personally will be guided according to His will also.

On a more hopeful note, we can game it out however we want, we don’t have the final say. In this piece from David Warren (linked down below) from his Essays in Idleness, he’s referring to an Extinction Event, but in my view it could well apply to CWII (ie., Civil War II) …

“The world, as I mentioned, is not coming to an end, until God wills it. We are merely making it more miserable for ourselves to live and die here.”

Perhaps gentle reader is already aware that I am a fervent Reactionary, and an enemy of all Change and Revolution that cannot lead to Heaven. A Reactionary must, after all, ‘accentuate the positive.’

The paradox is that these people can only be defeated by joy, and a love that cannot be reduced to lubricity. I invite gentle reader to look on joyfully: for notwithstanding the occasional inconvenience, the Kingdom of God is always at hand, today as yesterday and forever.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. ~ Revelation 21: 1-3
