“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee as a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.” ~ Jeremiah 1:5-7
“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” ~ Psalm 139:13-16
For I Know The Plans I Have For You – The Evidence
~ Jeremiah 29:11…
In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?” The other replied, “Why, of course, there has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.” “Nonsense” said the first, “there is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.” The first replied, “That is absurd, walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.” The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”
“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.” The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?” The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”
Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.” To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”
The Fool Hath Said In His Heart There Is No God
~ Psalm 14:1…
And he [God] brought him forth abroad, and said [to Abram], Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he [God] said unto him, So shall thy seed be.. ~ Genesis 15:5
And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time … That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.. ~ Genesis 22:15-18
Andromeda is our nearest galactic neighbor (as galaxies go) and is clearly visible on any given night. This NASA video gives some scope to the reality of what God has created and gives me a heart full of wonder at these facts … Our God is greater, stronger, and higher than any other * He loves us so much He sent His Son to be one of us * He places Himself in us through faith … We have all of this around us, and we’re here in this tiny world, that’s not even a dot in the universe. Worrying about bills, religion, being politically correct about supporting homosexuality, and sodomy, and lesbianism and the oxymoron of same sex marriage; and aborting close to 60 million innocent babies, and having the coolest, latest gadgets and clothes. As if, with all these demonic activities swirling around us and we as a nation embracing them at will, we don’t think of what God is wondering and what punishment he must mete out for our intansigence and disobedience … We’re really just like a bunch of dumb monkeys living in a world we don’t deserve.
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the cornerstone thereof? ~ Job 38:4-6
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? ~ Job 38:31-33
One of the more difficult ideas to grasp in astronomy is the sheer scale of the cosmos. Even professionals in the field find it much easier to focus on numbers and data than to really step back and appreciate scale. Every now and then there is an image that forces all of us to contemplate scale, such as the Hubble Ultra Deep Field. Now of course, NASA and ESA have released the above new image of the Andromeda galaxy, which is the most detailed image of Andromeda ever made.
The total image has about 1.5 billion pixels, and shows over 100 million stars across 40,000 light years. In the image you can see the brilliant swirls of Andromeda’s spiral arms, but when you zoom in the dusty swirls resolve into individual stars. A vast sea of stars.
Andromeda is relatively close by cosmic standards, being only 2.5 million light years away, which is why we can resolve the galaxy in such detail. But this shows only the brighter stars of Andromeda. It is estimated that Andromeda contains about a trillion stars, most of which are too small and dim to resolve in this image, so bottom line is, that we’re still only seeing a fraction of the stars in this galaxy.
As you look on this image, keep in mind that this is only part of a nearby galaxy. Our own galaxy would look similar, as would many others. It’s estimated that there are 100 billion galaxies in the visible universe. That’s more than 10 galaxies for every man, woman and child on Earth. Multiply this image by ten, and for all of it there is only one single human being. The same is true for every person on the planet.
Images such as these often give a feeling of smallness. Within the vast cosmos we are merely dust upon dust. But to me it demonstrates just how rare and wondrous each of us are. We can look on an image such as this, see the spirals of stars, and we can understand the cosmos. More importantly, we can understand GOD and his magnificent benevolence towards each and every one of us personally – Provided of course, that we respond in like fashion to Him in grateful thanks for his grace, love, and mercy, and seek his forgiveness through Jesus Christ for our many sins and iniquities. Time is getting short people; very, very, short. Repent, repent, repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand! Sanctity of life everlasting:GOD Is!
Sole` Deo Gloria!
