The title signs and content of today’s piece originates from the wonderful mind and pen (keyboard, even!) of the illustrious Gerard Vanderleun and his American Digest, on a topic very timely in the comings and goings of the fate of the Constitutional Republic. I have him linked down below, together with a short, sharp, piece by Ned Cosby, and a few scattered interruptions by yours truly. So you can peruse all of this wonderment at your leisure.

Yours truly: The “cyberwar” within which our fearless president currently finds himself, has been taking place for quite a long time, orchestrated by forces in varying degrees around the world which can rightly be dated since the Tower of Babel, when God “scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth … Therefore is the name of it called Babel”. (Genesis 11:1-9)

Is it the the structural or the philological elements that give credence to the story? – the heart of which is the purpose of the people to step into God’s shoes. Logic avers (and dear God, we must all get back to logic), either you can be in God’s universe or you can be in it, and flip Him the middle finger (not recommended!) Questioning God? Jesus and David (King, one each) did. The Bible is all there for inquiry into God.

It isn’t the questioning, but the intent of the man. Especially when the man is the duly elected president of the United States and finds himself with a HUGE problem to solve.

Ned Cosby, American Thinker (also linked below) to set the scene:  A Christian friend of mine recently received a question from one of his Democrat friends. “Why,” asked the friend, “are Christians so loyal to Trump?”  My friend asked me to pen an answer.

I can tell you why I support Trump.  First, he opposes abortion.  I believe that a human life begins at conception and that we are obliged to do all we can to support a new life that God has created.  I do not believe that anyone has the right to end what God has begun.

Trump loves America. His famous slogan, “Make America Great Again,” shows us that he wants to make America better. The Democrats mock that sentiment and seem to hate American history. Obama claimed he wanted to transform America into something else. America is made up of imperfect people. We live in a time of half truth and innuendo, and we know the left lies, since their lips are constantly on the move. What’s happening is, we can feel it, smell it, even taste it in the air. Recognize what it is, even put a name and definition to it. Yet we can’t change anything about it. We’ve also quickly discovered the left being propagandized by fame-seeking blog daddies on the right.

As stoic as I am, yours truly has incorporated somewhat of a behavioral change to what I can impact on my personal level, and to those who enquire of me. To a great degree I find myself saying this a lot lately, but anyone using the tools of the left, speaking the language of the left, orchestrating mayhem from the left, then you have in fact, become part of the left. There’s no excuse!

As Ned Cosby closes out for instance: Trump’s foreign policy has been supportive of persecuted Christians in parts of the world where Christianity is under siege. Trump’s foreign policy has been supportive of Israel, the birthplace of Christianity.

He supports the motto “In God We Trust.” He does not put his trust in big government, as his famous “Drain the Swamp” battle cry suggests. He puts his trust in God and the American people.

I do not pretend he is perfect. His comments have made me wince at times, but his actions make me proud to be one of his supporters. [end]
