Chuck de Caro, American Greatness: In light of the swirling vortex of destructive leftist partisanship demonstrated in the first month of Joe Biden’s regime, let us now annotate the words of aviation hero-turned-Lincoln Project lackey Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger [please genuflect], regarding the new president of the United States. “Leadership is not just about sitting in the pilot’s seat.”

That’s true. But exactly who is sitting in the pilot’s seat? Joe Biden, when he isn’t manifesting the traits of senility? Kamala, “Fwee-dom” Harris, former “little girl on the school bus”-turned-Willie Brown paramour, now chatting solo with world leaders?

Or assorted leftists in the cabinet whose jobs came not from merit, but from a political deal with socialist Bernie Sanders? C’mon Sully, tell us. Who is flying this thing? Who, for sure, has hands on the yoke and throttle of the United States government? Shoot, now even Democrats want to take the nuclear “football” away from Vertigo Joe.

Or is it all on some socialist autopilot? You promoted this, Sully, so you must have the answer. What are you going to do now, squawk 7500? [-]

Yours Truly: Pardon my saying so, but it just goes to show that a person can be the best in the world at one thing and dumb as a tree stump at another. Sully is a darn good pilot (or was) but when it comes to politics, I wouldn’t trust his advice any more than any plumber, barber, or bartender. Which is not meant to denigrate said professions by any means.

Fact is, one could argue, the sullied Lincoln Project scam needed a trustworthy face like Sully’s, so maybe he was led to the noose innocently enough and now his face is sullied. Or as one comedian put it on the comments thread – Sully can land planes in tight spaces but he has the political sophistication of a ten year old.

On the other hand of course, we could put forth that TDS claims yet another soul, in that Sully exposes himself as just another leftist former union member. Or is one always a union member at heart? I forget … And by the way, we didn’t vote Trump out. We voted him back in. BIGLY! [-]

Yours Truly: But we face a troubled future. What if “affirmative action” results in pilots who have great political sophistication but with the piloting skills of ten-year-olds? Some still wonder if there was something in it for Sully or did he simply act out of blind and naive belief? The good captain is for sure a victim of the weird idea that a person with expertise in any field has anything useful to say about anything else. But when everybody’s a victim … mmmmm. “Leadership is not just about sitting in the pilot’s seat.” Sully speaks the truth.

Fact is We the (80 million+) People have an unelected politburo running our country. They are the leadership while a senile man sits in “the pilot’s seat.” One must regret that we can never have a “Sully II, This time we elect Biden.”

Yours Truly: According to the definition of “Sedevacantism”, in the ‘cockpit’ of an airplane, the Left Seat is vacant, the Oval Office is vacant, and the Holy See has been vacant for a long time. Sedevacantism is also the position held by some people who identify as Catholic^[1][2] that the present occupier of the Holy See is not pope due to the mainstream church’s espousal of what they generally quietly maintain as heresies of modernism and that, for lack of a valid pope, the See has been vacant since the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958, the death of Pope Saint John XXIII in 1963, the death of Pope Saint Paul VI in 1978, or since the first alleged publicly proclaimed heresy by Paul VI, etc.
