Thomas Sowell as intellectual giant…

O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. ~ Psalm 139: 1-4

Thomas Sowell: “There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge’. People have to know what the facts are themselves. If everyone knew what all the facts were, we would have an entirely different set of people elected.”

Yours truly: Vintage. Pure vintage! This statement by Thomas Sowell is the key to the current problem. Consider as a for instance, the current iteration of one fake ‘president’ the other day looking like a grandpa that had just wandered away from the picnic table during that (so called) press conference, and having that dull, not quite all there look in his eyes.

Thomas Sowell: “It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong. It doesn’t matter how smart you are if you don’t stop and think. It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance. I was still a Marxist after taking Milton Friedman’s course, but after only one summer in Federal government I was cured. So never say the Federal government doesn’t do anything good!”

Yours truly: The media has failed to provide the populace with the facts, preferring instead to shadow-box the intruder into an exclusive arm of one party or ideology. The failure of the said media is the root of the problem. The hazard of installing a seriously senile puppet into the highest office on the entire planet is way beyond comprehension.

Thomas Sowell as intellectual giant

Thomas Sowell: “The vision of the left, and [to which] I think many conservatives underestimate this, is really a more attractive vision in itself. The only reason for not believing in it is it doesn’t work. How can anyone read history and still trust politicians. It is usually futile to talk facts and analysis to the people who are enjoying a moral superiority in their ignorance. The problem isn’t that Johnny can’t read. The problem isn’t even that Johnny can’t think. The problem is that Johnny doesn’t know what thinking is. He confuses it with feeling.”

Yours truly: Ouch! Thomas Sowell. He’s 90 now and happy he is still around but there needs to be more like him. There needs to be people like him to carry the torch for our great country. A fake president of a fake administration installed by a fake election is asked fake questions at a fake press conference by a fake press corps to fake out the rubes. Perfect, really. Ask for this when you pray.

Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. ~ Psalm 139: 5-8

Thomas Sowell: “If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 50 years ago, a liberal 25 years ago and a racist today. Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times. When there are no consequences when rules and laws are broken, then we no longer have rules and laws; but only suggestions.”

Yours truly: Boom! Thomas Sowell is a remarkable surgeon who extracts failed logic and political rhetoric from our minds. The left now firmly in the CatBird seat simply doesn’t care what we peons of America think. They don’t need to care. They now have in place a system whereby they can decide who wins any future office in any election. And there’s not a darned thing anybody can do about it. At least not legally or peacefully.

Thomas Sowell: “Someone has to make them go to bed on time, someone has to make them do their homework, someone has to make them mind the teacher. No group can be truly suppressed until its members are trained and convinced to suppress one another. I am not your brother I am Mr. Sowell and you will address me as such. There are no solutions. Only tradeoffs. When you vote on the basis of rhetoric and symbolism instead of using your mind it doesn’t matter how smart you are unless you stop and think. Why are other people bound to do for you what you’re not going to do for yourself?”

Yours truly: Because there’s a ‘laziness’ afoot, that’s why. Most of us don’t give a hoot about “peaceful”. The leftists fully expect us to shackle ourselves with “peaceful” and “legal” as they trample on both! Things will only change when we disregard both. In pursuit of liberty and justice, all options should be on the table. Every single one of them. State legislatures in 5 to 20 states can pass meaningful election legislation and then, because of the obvious fraud, force new elections. People need to stop whining and join the fight.

Boyhood hero Sir Winston Churchill …

The Conclusion of the Matter
“The Government™” isn’t something you can vote for because it is, in reality, the vast unelected administrative state; present at every level of [any] government entity along with unelected lobbyists who effectively own the politicians found at every level of government who pretend to be in control.

All is not lost, my friends. We have our states. We have our communities and we have like minded patriots. Keep in mind that 1776 happened because approximately 10% of colonials were true freedom-loving patriots that dared to forcefully challenge the British. Though it took quite a few years to get to the point, they ultimately did it. With the current surveillance capabilities of the deep state establishment it will prove to be a bit more difficult, but we patriots are highly intelligent, resourceful and more importantly – we generally have the will and the resolve to get it done, no matter what and however long it takes to do it!

At the bottom of all the tributes paid to democracy is the little man, walking into the little booth, with a little pencil, making a little cross on a little bit of paper. No amount of rhetoric or voluminous discussion can possibly diminish the overwhelming importance of that point. ~ Sir Winston Churchill, House of Commons, October 31, 1944

Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. ~ Psalm 139: 21-24
