The degenerate were out in force yet again last night for their annual barb-tossing event gratuitously-labeled the ‘White House Correspondents Dinner’, this time in the confines of the Washington Hilton hotel. At least the sewer rats had the decency not to have rented the Trump International for their annual gabfest. Bad enough it is that they generally rely on some foul-mouthed ‘up-and-comer-shock-maker’ to supposedly poke fun at the president and his admin so that suitable headlines can be directed his way the morning after.

Thankfully (as he was last year in Pennsylvania) President Trump was rallying with his real Americans, this time in Washington, Michigan, a far, far, better emporium for We the People than Washington DC.

First off, I’ve always believed (and you can call me old-fashioned for this) that a “comedian” should be, well – comedic and funny. And for the most part (just reading those Drudge headlines should be enough) Michelle Wolf simply wasn’t funny. Jokes about abortion and airplane disasters, poking fun at people for their appearance – these things are not something most of us think of as rib-ticklers or knee-slappers.

Secondly, in hiring Wolf, the White House Correspondents Association reinforced and validated the Trumpian complaint that the press is ‘liberal’ and ‘elitist’ and out of touch with average Americans. President Trump will now gleefully point to Wolf and her nastiness as evidence that the ‘media’ is unfair and out to get him.

Thirdly, Wolf’s language was grossly inappropriate, both for the audience and for the time slot in which her comments were broadcast. She was not only disrespectful of the people in that room, and the television audience, but she gave even more ammunition to Trump and his supporters.

There are many, many ways to ‘roast’ public figures – heck, just go back to the innocent days of quality family TV shows, and re-live those fabulous entertainment roasts of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Don Rickles, Foster Brooks, Ruth Buzzi, Bob Hope etal.

The way the White House Correspondents Association chose to do it last night was one of (if not THE) worst of their efforts at ‘comedy’ in their many years of supposedly poking fun at the sitting president and those around him.

In closing, and more to the point, it is absolutely jaw-dropping in many ways to see just how far down the salacious immorality road the United States and other nations have allowed their people to take them. Consider for instance just this list alone that I culled from current news headlines in less than one hour:

There is absolutely no doubt that the liberal progressive Left (of which the White House Correspondents Association is part) is currently engaged in a crusade to destroy traditional faith in America to make way for their secular and authoritarian society. Their arguments and statistics are propaganda-designed to confuse and dishearten the faithful who would stand against them.

There is a large population in the country who still adhere to the faith of their fathers, who believe in the vision of the founders, and who are prepared to stand up to the threat presented by a seditious and criminal left. It would not be wise for the Left to continue to threaten, criminalize, and otherwise abuse people of faith.

Once aroused, the majority will not easily be ignored. As we repeatedly witness between the president and his supporters.
