Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. ~ Psalm 3: 1-3

“What about the main thing in life, all its riddles? If you want, I’ll spell it out for you right now. Do not pursue what is illusionary – property and position: all that is gained at the expense of your nerves decade after decade, and is confiscated in one fell night. Live with a steady superiority over life – don’t be afraid of misfortune, and do not yearn for happiness; it is, after all, all the same: the bitter doesn’t last forever, and the sweet never fills the cup to overflowing. It is enough if you don’t freeze in the cold and if thirst and hunger don’t claw at your insides. If your back isn’t broken, if your feet can walk, if both arms can bend, if both eyes can see, if both ears hear, then whom should you envy? And why? Our envy of others devours us most of all. Rub your eyes and purify your heart – and prize above all else in the world those who love you and who wish you well. Do not hurt them or scold them, and never part from any of them in anger; after all, you simply do not know: it may be your last act before your arrest, and that will be how you are imprinted on their memory.” ~ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” ~ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

“Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either – but right through every human heart – and through all human hearts. This line shifts. Inside us, it oscillates with the years. And even within hearts overwhelmed by evil, one small bridgehead of good is retained. And even in the best of all hearts, there remains … an unuprooted small corner of evil. ~ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.” ~ Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

“When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.”

“Men have forgotten God; that’s why all this has happened.”

Why Trump and his presidency is so important is because we’re almost akin to spectators at a velvet glove civil war in a bi-polar (for now) Constitutional Republic. One side represented by ‘classical liberals’ – Trump and AG Barr – in the footsteps of 1787, who adhere to the constitutional order, believe the national government is limited, and that the three branches of that government are bound by the obligation of representation.

On the other side however, we have an irreverent bunch of connivers who view their nascent power as a tool through which they may impose their will upon we the people at any time, under any circumstance, for whatever purpose they choose.

The corrupt BHO / Biden / HRC administration, FBI; CIA; NSA; DNC; Democrat party etal, are pretty much exposed in their anti-American acts before and during the 2016 campaign. The big question of course, is if they will in fact, be held to account as to why Trump has been their target? Which certainly would be healthy for the constitutional republic, yet the cynic among us cannot be ruled out that protecting their assets (whatever they may be) is likely the more probable concern arising from the swamp dwellers.

Why Trump? Because they want power. Absolute power.

As we know, the Democrats, their wealthy backers and their lefty intelligentsia had been methodically gaining power and political influence over the United States, including the controlling majority within a politically corrupt media; marginalized Hollywood loons; almost all of public education; the Intel agencies (except for Admiral Mike Rogers and his patriotic duty in warning the incoming president of malfeasance), the FBI, CIA, NSA, DOJ, the IRS scandals and other misdeeds leading up to the insidious finale of the last Administration – in other words, a full-on banana republic-style Coup attempt that very nearly succeeded.

This seems about as far as a corrupt and demented political movement could go in a ‘free’ country without adding the military to the equation. Had president Trump not appeared on the political scene when he did, we the people can only guess at what the Mad Hatter DemoMarxist next steps would have been.

Which is why the Dark Side are so hellbent on pulling it apart. And why the Trump presidency is so important.

I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. ~ Psalm 3: 4-6
